Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Salmon

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb salmon
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/4 inch thin sliced lemon slices (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro (garnish)

Directions
 

  1. Pat your salmon fillets dry with a paper towel
  2. Add your salmon fillets to a large bowl or plastic bag
  3. Add avocado oil, lemon juice, lemon zest and seasonings and mix well
  4. Let it marinate for 30 minutes to two hours
  5. Remove the salmon fillets from the marinade.
  6. Preheat your Air Fryer on 400F for 5 minutes
  7. Spray the basket with non-stick cooking spray.
  8. Place your salmon fillets in the air fryer basket.
  9. Optionally top with thin lemon slices.
  10. Cook on 400F for 8-12 minutes.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the air fryer at 350F for 3-4 minutes.
