Ingredients

Base:
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup plain non-fat greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/3 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon calorie-free natural sweetener optional, only if your protein powder isn't sweet and you want it sweeter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds
Garnish:
  • Blueberries
  • Whipped cream

Directions

  1. In a blender, add all of your ingredients except for the chia seeds. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add the chia seeds into the blender and fold the chia seeds until evenly distributed. Do not blend them.
  3. Transfer into a 16 oz mason jar. Make sure all of the chia seeds at the bottom of the blender make it into the jar and spoon them into the jar if necessary.
  4. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then stir it again before chilling as this will help with preventing the chia from clumping.
  5. Store in the refrigerator for at least 6-8 hours, preferably overnight if possible.
  6. Garnish with your desired toppings
  7. Serve.
