Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Wash 2 lbs of sweet potatoes and dry them with paper towels.
  3. Take out a cutting board and begin cutting your sweet potato into cubes. They should be about 3/4 to 1 inch in size.
  4. In a large bowl, add all of your dry seasonings and mix them together.
  5. Add the avocado oil and honey into the bowl with the seasonings and mix everything together until the sweet potatoes are fully coated.
  6. Take out a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper.
  7. Add your sweet potatoes onto the baking pan, making sure they’re in a single layer.
  8. Bake on 400°F for 25-35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  9. Once they're done, remove from the oven and let them cool for at least 5 minutes.
  10. Serve your roasted sweet potatoes immediately

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to restore crispiness.
