About Flexible Feasts

Hey there! I’m Steven.

I started getting into cooking healthy recipes back in 2016. Like many others, I was looking for solutions that would help me build muscle and get in shape. With more than a decade of experience cooking healthy recipes, I’ve launched Flexible Feasts to help others on a similar path.

I’m a recipe developer and content creator focused on high-protein recipes, healthy meal prep ideas, and easy cooking methods that actually fit into a busy schedule. Whether you’re looking for high-protein breakfast ideas, quick lunch recipes, or simple dinner inspiration, everything I share is built around real ingredients and results you can taste.

Helping Busy Adults Eat Better, Without the Diet Stuff

I built Flexible Feasts to help busy adults eat in a way that supports their goals without feeling like they’re on a diet. I turn familiar meals and desserts into higher-protein, lower-added-sugar, and more filling versions that still look and taste satisfying.

I want to help my viewers build muscle, lose fat, and live an overall healthier lifestyle through recipes that are practical, budget-friendly, and actually enjoyable to make.

The broader mission behind Flexible Feasts is to inspire lasting change by making healthy eating achievable, enjoyable, and sustainable. I share practical recipes and guidance to help people feel confident and in control of their health.

Higher Protein
Many of my recipes are built around cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, egg whites, lean meats, and protein powders.
Lower Sugar
I focus on natural sweeteners like honey & maple syrup along with calorie-free sweeteners like stevia and monk fruit.
More Filling
Volume, fiber, and protein work together to keep you full longer without strict calorie caps.

It’s Not Just a Catchy Name

The name describes exactly what I’m about.

Flexible

  • Based on the “flexible dieting” philosophy and no strict adherence to diets like keto, intermittent fasting, Mediterranean etc.
  • Your food choices are unlimited. Your quantity is what matters.
  • The 80/20 rule: eighty percent healthy, unprocessed foods, twenty percent whatever you prefer.
  • Flexible Feasts helps with that eighty percent.

Feasts

  • Complete, nutrient-dense meals with healthy carbs, fats, and proteins.
  • Recipes that taste great and keep you full.
  • Lower calorie, higher protein, and higher fiber options that let you eat larger portions than their “unhealthy” counterparts.

Comfort Food That Actually Moves You Toward Your Goals

I sit between aesthetic-only “what I eat in a day” content and hardcore bodybuilding meal prep. My recipes look good, taste like comfort food, and still move people toward their health goals. I emphasize flexibility over rigid rules, and progress over perfection.

The recipes I create are built around a consistent set of priorities:

  • Higher protein per serving using cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, egg whites, lean meats, and protein powders
  • Lower added sugar by leveraging natural fruit sweetness or the sweetness already in protein powders
  • Better satiety through volume, fiber, and protein, not strict calorie caps
  • Simple, repeatable methods using everyday tools like ovens, air fryers, microwaves, blenders, and sheet pans
  • Everyday ingredients found in typical grocery stores, with substitution notes for different fat levels, flavors, or textures

I don’t chase clickbait “three ingredient” recipes that don’t actually taste good. Ingredient lists can be complex when the recipe calls for it, because quality and flavor come first.

If You’re Tired of the Diet Noise, You’re in the Right Place

If you’re tired of extreme diets, unrealistic meal plans, and recipes that call for ingredients you can’t find at a regular grocery store, you’re in the right place.

I know what it’s like to want to get healthier but feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice online. I know that cooking healthy on a budget is hard when you’re juggling work and family. And I know that high-protein food doesn’t have to taste boring or take hours to make.

Every recipe I share is tested, photographed, and filmed by hand. I focus on results that matter: staying full longer, fewer energy crashes, building sustainable habits, and enjoying your food while you’re at it.
